Graphic Design
I developed a love of graphic design in college. My objective at the time was a career in advertising. My course work required me to mock up work for imaginary campaigns and my ideas lacked power without the strong visuals I was imagining. I sought the art department and enrolled in an introductory course in graphic design and changed my minor to graphic design before the end of the year.
Content Creation
A major part of my current role is content creation in many capacities. I manage the social media platforms for my company and write both compelling and educational content. Additionally, I’m in charge of training new staff and the continuing education of current staff. I love breaking down tough concepts and relating them to structures and practices we are already familiar with. Educating others has become the most rewarding work I have done.
Original Photography
I love to point a camera in the great outdoors, but I’m also more than happy to take product shots and unique visuals as needed. There are millions of amazing stock photos out there, but on occasion, only a very specific original image will do the trick.
